The Hastings Star Gazette ran the article "Hastings Ford's generosity benefits schools and family services," which talked about how more than 140 people test-drove vehicles at Hastings Ford Lincoln Mercury Inc. late this past summer, raising $2,920 for the Hastings Public Schools Foundation. Ford donated $20 per vehicle that was test driven.
There was also a letter to the editor titled "Thanks to those who attended Kids Day America." The event was sponsored by PowerWithin Chiropractic. All proceeds – more than $1,000 – were donated to HPSF.

The Hastings Star Gazette ran an article titled "Test-driving a car is a unique way of raising funds for kids," which talked about the Cruise 4 UR School event that Ford Motors, through Hastings Ford Lincoln Mercury will host on August 28-29, 2008. Ford Motors will donate $20 (up to $6,000) for every participant who takes a new Ford vehicle for a spin during the event. All money raised will go benefit the Hastings Public Schools Foundation. |
